Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, I now live in a nice house with a garden in a small village with my family near the Heidelberg area in Germany.

I mainly teach business and technical English at companies, dabble a bit in materials writing, like to train other teachers in business language teaching and spend too much time on my computer. I have gained over 18 years experience as a teacher, have worked for a major German auto maker and have now started my own free-lance business helping professionals and university students to develop and enhance their communication skills through friendly, effective and personalized language training. My great enthusiasm and energy encourages my clients to accomplish things in English they thought they could never do before.

I also love to cook new dishes, page through old and new cookbooks and visit the local farmer's market. If I'm lucky, I travel once or twice a year to other beautiful places such as Paris and get a chance to eat the local food, visit a museum, and people watch.
