Here I am. I believe that life is too short to follow other people’s rules. Creativity is my mana, my life force. I get the best ideas when I allow myself to sit in an empty space of complete stillness. Every day I turn to my center. Then I switch to manifestation mode and get it done. Fast.
My body is my temple. Cooking fuels all my senses and I’m inspired by delicious, vibrant food that nourishes me on all levels. I am most radiant when my body moves in harmony with nature’s heartbeat. I love hiking in the woods, swimming in the warm ocean and lazing in the grass while watching the clouds. Hula moves me deeply; I dance in a halau and study Hawaiian culture. I love aesthetic form and color. I paint passionately. And I practice living a life of pono: responsibility, integrity with respect for all things.
Professionally speaking, I am a transformational coach with an impressive assemblage of certifications and credentials that I used to collect, in hope that I would be seen as an expert. Today I believe that it is more important to have the ability to be fully present to what or who is in front of me, than to have a belt full of tools, processes and techniques. I found my purpose in sharing my wisdom and by inspiring divine unity into every relationship.
Together with Ray Slayton, we teach THE PONO WAY, a philosophy for self-actualization and radical liberation from illusions. At the Pono Institute on Maui we lead private retreats for individuals or groups and coach clients in person, or over Skype. We are invigorated when we get to guide people to sacred place here on island, or wherever we travel in the world.
These days most of my conversations are about what I consider the most important gift in this universe: freedom. With Ray we are co-authoring the forthcoming book THE PONO WAY - A Multidimensional Experience, which frees us from the illusions that we are conditioned to believe. From a young age I was a rebel, always thinking outside the box. I was born of equal parts of aspiration and inspiration. I became a singer, dancer, actress, model and moderator. I once ran an event company in Germany, started my own coaching business and lived in a castle. Actually in two. Then I skipped what was expected of me, left a successful career to follow my craziest dreams and moved to California. Life is short. When the L.A. circus turned out to be less inspirin
