Gabrielle Franklin

She has a nose for news. As a child, Gabrielle was always curious about what was going on around the world. Now as a television news reporter, Gabrielle makes a living out of her passion and curiosity.

Gabrielle works as a political reporter at KDVR in Denver.

Before joining KDVR, Gabrielle worked as a capitol mmj in Springfield, IL, a general assignment and statehouse reporter in her hometown of Columbia, SC as reporter and an MMJ/weekend anchor at WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, WV.

Gabrielle received her B.A. in Mass Communication with a minor in Business Administration from Winthrop University in 2015. During her time at Winthrop, she created a video production service, served as an anchor, reporter and producer for Winthrop Close Up, and served as the secretary for Winthrop's Association of Black Journalists.

Gabrielle enjoys meeting and serving viewers around the state. She is eager to continue delivering compelling coverage in the field.
