Hi, I'm Gabriel Leavell, a seasoned entrepreneur with an undying passion for both business and creativity. Starting my journey at the University of Washington, where I studied marketing and business, I started my entrepreneurial journey with a clothing brand that, despite humble beginnings and limited resources, garnered considerable success. This was the launchpad that led me through a myriad of businesses, from coffee shops to ATMs, and consulting.

My ultimate realization of how to blend business acumen with creative expression came when I delved into the vacation rental sector. I recognized the immense potential in curating unique experiences for guests through keen design and personalized services. This venture quickly took off, allowing me to pivot into a mission-driven initiative—Daze House. We're a Black-owned boutique hotel brand with our roots planted deeply in Africa. Our goal is audacious yet simple: to be the largest privately-held, Black-owned hotel brand on the continent, while transforming underserved communities through design and sustainable business practices.

The next chapter in my journey is Vibe—a Los Angeles-based AI tech startup that seeks to democratize the visual aspect of the music industry. Vibe emerged from the realization that artists, especially those underrepresented, often struggle with the visual components of their work. They either lack the resources or find current solutions inaccessible or unaffordable. That's where Vibe steps in. Our platform uses advanced AI algorithms to transform song lyrics into dynamic visual representations, which we call "Vibe Checks." But we didn’t stop there. Vibe also enables artists to generate custom animated music videos, lyric videos, and Spotify Canvases. Essentially, Vibe acts as a creative assistant, breaking down the barriers that inhibit artistic vision, thereby changing not just the how, but the who can create in the music industry.

When I’m not spearheading these ventures, I’m either savoring a single-origin pour-over coffee at a local café, exploring the art world, design, and film.
