Gabriel Wee Tom is a 2nd-year RTA Sport Media student at Ryerson University. He specializes in writing and journalism, while also being very proficient in behind-the-scenes roles in television production. He successfully wrote and co-produced his first program in November 2018, Joystick Jam, a 30-minute eSports news show.
Gabriel's dynamic skill lends itself well to the modern media landscape, as his writing, communication, and technological skills are integral parts of the industry today. Outside of sports media, Gabriel's potential professional occupations include marketing, entrepreneurship, social media management, content creation, and creative directing. He plans to work in the entertainment industry, with specific interests in sport, video games, blockbuster comic books/movies, and hip hop.
Gabriel hopes to combine his hobbies and passions with his work life to create engaging creative content in a variety of mediums.
