Gabriela Rivero

Venezuelan born in 1996. I have never experienced my homeland without the control of the Chavist regime and, as it deteriorated with time, it became more obvious to my parents and I that the best for my future would be to move to a more developed and democratic nation – although it would require a lot of sacrifice and efforts. I lived in the United States for a few months but a scholarship changed my course of action and I landed in Madrid.
