Heather Gadonniex

Hi. I'm Heather.

I live in San Francisco and work as a business/brand strategist focusing on sustainability. I'm passionate about building healthy, long-lasting brands through transparency and authenticity. I'm equally enthused by cooking tasty, slow-cooked food for my friends and urban tribe. Oh, and I like to thrown parties in my SOMA flat and travel.

Currently, I am the EPD Program Manager for UL Environment. EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) are tools that allows for disclosure of environmental impacts throughout a product's lifecycle. About twice a year, I teach a course on Sustainable Materials at UC Berkeley Extension's Sustainable Design Program.

A couple of years ago, I wrote a book: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Greening Your Business. I've been thinking about writing another one, but shudder at the idea of locking myself in an apartment to finish it...again. Someday, maybe.
