Gaela Manzano

My name is Gaela Manzano, and I'm 17. What about me? I'm just in love with life, with kids, with learning... I'm in love with all details of the world, of the nature, of the people. Maybe my english is not perfect, but I think everyone can understand what I say. My first language is spanish, followed by french, and finally, english (language a bit difficult to learn in spanish school system).

My dream is to put forward a new system, where kids would really learn something, instead learning it by heart, and forgetting it two days later.

On the other hand, I found completely idiot to judge and work with two kids that not necessary have the same brain developement; maybe you can meet a child who has a really impressive emotional intelligence, but who has problems with maths, biology, history etc. and other who can be extremely awesome in languages, geography, chemistry etc, but he can't react to any situation. They need a different education, a different way to develop different parts of their brain, of their life. That is just a summary about what I think about education.

This year I'm going to stop studying in spanish system, and I'm going to learn by myself things I find useful in life, and that I want to learn, to get out of my little box of tears, which is really boring and depressive. I want to learn languages, cultures, philosophy, psicology, playing some instruments, doing sports... A lot of things I think that are important, useful and interesting for me, and for my future.

I love writting, I love tinking about life, I love people (meeting new people, learning about other points of view, feeding my mind with great stories and toughts), I love music, I love my friends, my family...

Concluding, I would like to change things in the world, to laugh, learn and teach.

I would like to be happy.
