The Dallas Rose Society chose her Texas garden to receive the coveted Elizabeth Ferguson Large Garden Award, as well as being on the Plano Garden Club’s tour of “Our Favorite Gardens.” Currently on the board of the Illinois-Indiana District Rose Society as publisher of the Illiana Newsletter she is past board member of the Northeastern Illinois and Dallas Rose Societies where she served as treasurer and secretary. Currently she is a member of the Daughter of The American Revolution (DAR), Jane Douglas Chapter, Dallas, Texas, and is past secretary of the Ann Crooker St. Clair DAR, Effingham, Il.
