Hi, I’m Gage. In my earlier life, I was a geologist doing environmental and engineering work. Then I got an MBA in Project Management and went into construction at first as an engineer and then as a PM, building municipal sized water treatment plants.

I am LEED certified environmental builder…but that is not what I am specifically about anymore.

Here's the story…

One day, I had an epiphany…a way to do business radically different and in such a way that helps people come together to solve the big complex problems of ever worsening inequality and environmental damage that threaten all life on Earth.

The idea is big…too big really for any sane person to think possible. And yet this vision continued to haunt me until one night, I decided to give into it and make it my life's work.

That idea is now being realized with Sqot as a new type of hybrid partnership of Sqot.Co, a for profit employee owned company and Sqot.Org, a non-profit organization… a Company Organization…a Coorgi for short.

Sqot.Co is a public benefit corporation that measures the damage of its business and then gives an equivalent amount of offset credits called Shoots (Y) to its customers and employee owners for donation to Sqot.Org, a nonprofit organization that will help them the problems most important to them.
