“Woman has the security of the Cyber World on her shoulders”

– In today’s high tech world, communication is often not face-to- face. People are choosing to connect by email, text message, iChat, through social networking sites, and more. But when it comes to social media, just how safe are you? Do you really know that the person you are talking to; is who they say they are? It’s likely that if you are a member of a social media site, you or someone you know may have been the target of phishing, a hacked profile, bullying, or “catfishing.” As of 2012, Norton Antivirus reports that “18 cyber crimes are committed per second world wide, equaling a staggering one-and-a-half million victims per day on a global level.” The MTV Network has exposed this quickly growing problem on their new reality TV show “Catfishing.” Every episode exposes countless stories of online fraud and victimization.

The vulnerability of today’s online youth scared inventor, philanthropist, and youth advocate Bridget Gaines. I decided that change was needed after learning of a bullied child’s suicide in 2009. Since then, created GoTween.com, the first ever, safe and secure social media website that is about to change everything that you’ve ever heard, known, or experienced online. I partnered with WorldVuer, an innovative communication software company based in OREM, Utah. WorldVuer specializes in creating highly visual online communication platforms. WorldVuer technology is designed to promote social networking, relationship connectivity, employee productivity, customer loyalty, and organizational efficiency.

Adults and business owners are incorporating the GoTween/WorldVuer 9 way conferencing technology into the work place. In the music industry, producer, bass player, songwriter, and musical director Kern Brantley uses the GoTween/WorldVuer technology to collaborate with musicians across the globe prior to big tours. Brantley has worked with superstars such as Beyonce, Lady Ga-Ga, Ne-Yo, and the Winans. In support of GoTween.com, Brantley has pledged to provide members with music lessons and instruments through contests and programs he has developed.

“In 2011, the software behind GoTween was integrated as an All-In-One interactive social media portal of technology for the world’s largest, privately owned online radio station network, CyberstationUSA.com,” says Kenny Andam, CEO and Owner of WorldVuer, and a GoTween partner.
