GIULIA GALDERISI

Terminologist and Translator in Roma, Italia

Since 2016 I have been working as a terminologist and linguistic assistant in the Office of the Secretary (SEC) of the International Fund for Agricultural Development.

My previous professional experience included an internship as a terminologist trainee and a linguistic assistant at FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), working at a press agency in Milan for almost a year and a three-month stage as a translation trainee at the European Parliament in Luxembourg.

Back in 2014, I worked as translator, secretary and clerk at a law firm for a few months and, while studying at university, I served as conference services staff during sales promotion events.

These experiences have greatly contributed to my professional and personal growth. I have developed my language skills in Italian, English, French and Spanish; improved my organizational and time-management skills; worked both independently and in multicultural teams; performed under pressure, often with tight deadlines, while delivering high-quality products; and in doing this, I have always shown tact and courtesy.

My enthusiasm, grit and desire to achieve objectives come to light also in my private life. During my free time, I cultivate my passion for athletics and I compete at amateur level.
