Galen Maddy

Adept at navigating the complicated processes associated with taxes, asset protection, and other financial matters, Galen Maddy successfully conducts retirement planning and management for his clients.

Recognizing his talents as a financial planner, Galen Maddy’s uncle sought Galen Maddy's assistance in applying for veterans’ benefits. As Galen Maddy sifted through the mounds of paperwork required to petition for benefits, he realized the extent of stress and strain involved in the procedure. To assist veterans with the burdens and hindrances of bureaucratic hurdles, Galen Maddy founded The Veteran’s Friend, an organization dedicated to educating veterans and their families about the benefit and compensation options available to them.

Galen Maddy’s goal is to promote public awareness of a particularly overlooked veteran pension commonly known as the Aid and Attendance Benefit. Through publications and workshops, Galen Maddy and his team explain eligibility requirements to their clients and their clients’ family members. Partnered with Galen Maddy, attorney Merwyn J. Miller provides his services in preparing and presenting claims. Galen Maddy’s published work, In Your Service: The Veteran’s Friend, provides clients with an in-depth description of common obstacles and offers potential solutions.

In addition to his work with The Veteran’s Friend, Galen Maddy gives guest lectures, and he formerly served as a syndicated columnist for The Blade-Citizen. In his free time, Galen Maddy enjoys golfing and fly fishing.
