Marlys Gallagher

I am originally from the California Sierra Nevada mountains but have lived in Oklahoma for many, many years. My affinity for nature and animals show in my artwork as an expressionistic and contemporary portrayal of the horse. I also do dogs and portraits. My writing is just the opposite of my fractalised paintings in that it is realistic, taken from life and from my counseling history. I love to show people new ways of 'seeing'.
