Listen to my music

Named after the famous "gallery of wonders" the inventor and musician Michele Todini opened in Rome in the 17th century, Gallleria Armonica is a young ensemble that specializes in the performance of music from the 16th to the 18th century on historical instruments. However young, its performers are well-seasoned on the international concert scene, having performed with world-renown artists such as Renee Jacobs, Richard Egarr or Christopher Hogwood in halls around Europe, the US and Japan.

Galleria Armonica's programs focus on the repertoire for voice and basso continuo and are articulated through historically inspired narratives. Emphasizing the dramatic and rhetorical aspects of the works we connect to our audiences through the timeless emotional experience patrimony of the music we perform. Our manifold programs encompass both the late Renaissance and the High Baroque repertoire, recovering practices of historical delivery, diction, rhetoric and ornamentation.

Upcoming projects include the CD recording of our program of late 16th century madrigals together with instrumental diminutions on the same themes.
