My family encountered a situation which about 1 in 9000 of families may experience during childbirth. The birth of triplets is a rare circumstance, and I am grateful to be a part of a triplet of three boys. My brothers, Sean and Dylan, have always been beside me throughout my entire life, until about two weeks ago. Both my brothers are attending Kennesaw State University, while I have ventured away to attend the University of Georgia. This slight physical separation has positive and negative aspects. Of course, I miss my brothers; however, this is the first time I have been recognized as my own individual person, Kieran, instead of one of the O'Reillys. Despite being Triplets, my brothers and I are very different in our unique ways. We have very different physical attributes, such as myself having dark brown hair, Dylan having light brown hair, and Sean having blonde hair, and we have different interests and hobbies. Despite our different characteristics, we have a unique, unbreakable bond connected by our status of being triplets. The bond of being a triplet extends outside of my immediate family, as my best friends are also triplets. Our families met sixteen years ago at an organization named Triplet Moms of Atlanta, and we have grown together as best friends. I am thankful for the everlasting bonds created by being a triplet.
