Galo Garces

A physician at Denver Nephrology, Galo Garces, MD, provides compassionate, expert care for patients with critical and chronic kidney diseases. Certified in the sub-specialty of nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he diagnoses and develops treatment strategies for patients with conditions such as polycystic kidney disease, kidney stones, chronic renal failure, and systemic lupus erythematosus. In his capacity at Denver Nephrology, Dr. Galo Garces treats patients using such regimens as hemodialysis, home dialysis, and kidney transplants.

Prior to his current position at Denver Nephrology, Dr. Galo Garces served an Assistant of Clinical Research at the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. A graduate of the Universidad Catolica School of Medicine in Ecuador, he completed coursework and an internship at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Galo Garces, MD, maintains active membership in the American Medical Association and the National Kidney Foundation, and engages in numerous scientific trials aimed at the development of new treatments for diseases affecting the kidney.
