Marion Gambin was born in 1985 in Paris, where she currently lives and works for the French press and the compagnies. After obtaining an undergraduate degree (BFA) in the Beaux-Arts of Toulouse, she joined the photography section of the ENS Louis-Lumière from which she graduated with a Masters in Photography in June 2011.

Her work has been many a times noticed in contests like the Bourse du Talent in the "portrait and reportage" section or in the UPP/Dupon Discovery award. Last December, her Gulmarg series were shown at the Phnom Penh Photo festival organised in Cambodia and curated by Christian Caujolle. In these pictures she addresses the human being in its relationship to space and to others, inside of the constraints imposed by the worlds in which we live.
