Most call me Ali, but I've become used to many other versions, spellings, variations, and nicknames.

All you really need to know is that I'm a college student who loves to write about the crazy evolving world around us. While this blog was intended to keep updates on my transition from a small private high school to a large public university, I'm also going to share my opinions and thoughts on larger issues as well. I hope that through reading you will reflect and learn about your own convictions and thoughts about our culture.

I love writing because words penetrate. When written well, language is one of the most versatile art forms because everyone can understand. Everyone can interact beyond the page.
