Tim Stoddard
Software Engineer and game developer in Lichfield, UK
Hello there!
You know my name, and you know who I am, so here's the more detailed version.
I have been making games since I was 16, however it wasn't until last year that I decided to finish a game that wasn't an academic project. Now under the name of Gamepopper, I have developed games for Desktop (Steam), Mobile (Android), Web (HTML5) and Consoles (Nintendo Switch).
I've been making games as a programmer usually, I've done work using C++, C#, Java, Haxe, Python and Actionscript, and the latter two are cases where I learned the languages a week before a games jam, and I'm not afraid of learning a few more in my life!
I graduated from Staffordshire University with a First Class w/ Honours degree in Computer Games Programming, and I previously worked at IBM UK Hursely's offices in Winchester.
Outside of all things computers and code, I'm a huge fan of anime and animated films, so much so that during my Sixth Form and first two years of University, I wrote film reviews for a small media website and Staffordshire University's Entertainment website OMG, as well as my own blog.
Thanks for checking my page out! Check out my work in the links below and I hope to meet some cool people at a convention or meetup in the future.
