Hello readers,
If you’re on this page, chances are, you’re wondering who the heck this Gabi girl is! In all honesty, I’ve spent way too much time thinking about clever ways to introduce myself. A bold word. Maybe a witty sentence or quote. Possibly a heartfelt haiku or pleasant poem. But clearly, I was unable to come up with an awe-inspiring idea. So here goes nothing!
From the day I came into this world, I have always been a talker. My family and friends can attest to that. I can talk to anyone and anything. I’m pretty sure I’ve talked to a tree on multiple occasions–and enjoyed it! And as I’ve grown older, my love for talking quickly developed into a deep passion for the written word. So here I am!
In addition to my love of writing, I adore exploring the world and it’s residents. Traveling, mission trips, and getting inexplicably lost in new locations (I am very directionally challenged) all fill me with a sense of longing and excitement.
Now, some random fun facts (those are fun, right?): I am a singing city girl who loves Jesus, knitting, thunderstorms, and the color yellow. I am obsessed with cheese fries from Sonic, elephants, and socks. I am terrified of beetles and clowns and find baby sloths thoroughly amusing.
But most importantly, I am a beautifully broken mess who constantly seeks the Father’s love and redemption to guide her through the twists and turns of life.
I’m sure this is more than you bargained for but I hope this blog provides you with opportunities to smile, laugh, or maybe even cry. I pray that these words are encouragement to you and always remind you of the Father’s unending love.
In Him,
Gabi
