I continue to work toward my Associates of Science degree in Emergency Medical Services at Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida. Currently a Paramedic intern, I ride with Seminole and Orange County Fire departments to gain field experience. I participate in clinical rotations in the Orlando Health and Florida Hospital systems' emergency departments. I have completed undergraduate coursework in clinical health sciences at the University of Central Florida. I am involved with the Emergency Management Student Association, the American Red Cross Club at UCF, and currently helping create the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) at UCF.

Skills, abilities, interests: Acoustic guitar, natural healing and nutrition, traveling, snow skiing, outdoor navigation. I have been an intermediate level skier since a child, been certified a NAUI open water diver, taken an introductory course in whitewater kayaking, and played ultimate frisbee competitively, and was an active member of USA Ultimate.

Work experience: Customer service, retail sales with health foods and supplements for 5 years and specialized experience in organic food preparation, homeopathic medicine, ayurvedic therapies, exercise sciences, and many nutritional healing remedies. I enjoy researching and learning about holistic approaches to medicine!
