Andrea Garchow

Hello, My name is Andrea Garchow. I’m a mother of two, living in Big Rapids, Michigan. I enjoy music, photography, and most of all, the warmth and sunshine of Michigan summers.

I was born in Georgia and completed my grade school years at Mt. Zion in 2004. After I moved to Michigan in 2007 and met my now husband, I worked with him as the business secretary until we had our first child. I enjoyed doing this type of work and that led me to go into the Administrative Assistant Professional program through Mid-Michigan in Mt. Pleasant.

I have recently completed my degree and look forward to helping this organization be successful. I worked for eight years as a paraprofessional with the MOISD. Here is where I learned my true passion for being an administrative assistant. I worked closely along side teams to collaborate and do what was best for each other and the students. I also did all of the classroom organization, filing, printing, phone calls, and so much more. I did this not because I had to, but because I wanted to.

I truly enjoy helping others succeed and being able to use my degree in this business.
