I’m Ian Garcia-Theriault, a Maine-based SEO strategist, writer, and founder of Your SEO Wizard. I also serve as Head of SEO & Digital Strategy at Local Image, where I help local and regional businesses make their websites, content, reporting, and search visibility more useful.

My work tends to live in the overlap between content, technical SEO, local search, and business strategy. In plain English: I help businesses figure out what their website needs to say, how it needs to be structured, what search systems need to understand, and what work is actually worth prioritizing.

Before moving deeper into SEO and agency strategy, I built a background in writing, website copy, video production, and small-business ownership. I founded Wizardly Media, ran a commercial cleaning business, and learned the deeply useful lesson that business advice is only good if it survives contact with Tuesday morning.

I care about making complicated things clearer. Search visibility, schema, reporting, technical cleanup, content strategy, Google Business Profiles, internal workflows, all of it can get very noisy very quickly. My goal is to turn the noise into something business owners can actually use.

Also, yes, Your SEO Wizard is a little enchanted on purpose. SEO can feel like an archaic grimoire from the outside. I just prefer to translate the spellwork into checklists, strategy, and better websites.
