Carolina Garcia

Recently graduated Columbia University and began working on a fashion tech start up called Modabound with a fellow student and a very dear friend, Alexa Varsavsky. Modabound makes it easy for friends to see what's in each other's closet and borrow clothes from one another. We figured we did it all the time and most of the girls we know do so as well, so why not make a site that makes what we love to do even easier and more FUN!

I was born and raised in Colombia, lived in Florida for a few years and am currently living in Manhattan. I love NYC and all it has to offer. Favorite city passtimes include: walking aimlessly for hours, finding new cafes, finding new restaurants, trying out new activities the city offers (such as Kayaking on the Hudson, Rockclimbing in BK, trapeze and stuntman-school are both on my to-do list).

I am passionate about economic development and wish to work on programs that help alleviate poverty in developping countries in the future.
