Jason Garcia

My name is Jason Garcia. I have a loving wife of 12 years and two wonderful children. My son is 8 years old and my daughter is 2. I have been a certified athletic trainer for 4 years now and currently work at Colorado State University. I am the only athletic trainer for club sports at CSU and I love what I do. I recently completed my masters in secondary education and am looking to move into teaching middle school or high school. I believe that there are many students out there that are not receiving the public school education that they deserve because there are major short comings in the areas of equality, literacy and 21st century skills being taught in schools today. I hope to utilize my education and experience to make a change. I have a passion for bringing joy back into the classroom and using humor on a regular basis to engage learners.
