Michelle Garcia
engineer and Musician in Atlanta GA
Hey, I’m Michelle and I am a biological engineer and I play music on the side.
I moved a lot around a lot when I was younger. I would say I moved around at least four times. I lived in Covington, Stone Mountain, Clarkston, and Tucker. It was pretty hard as a child to maintain friends and build meaningful relationships because I knew I would move around again, but at some point the people I knew back then would find themselves back to me! I thought that was pretty cool because the connections you make are never truly gone.
I stayed in Tucker for the rest of my middle and high school years. I think one of my fondest memories was getting out of the homecoming party and just blasting Sexxy Red out of my car to go to a Waffle House with my friends. Waffle House was the spot for my high school years after any event it was the go to place! I've seen some pretty crazy events happen in Waffle House which to be honest the workers do not get paid enough to deal with the people at 3 am, but the food hits different.
High school was a blur of just crazy activities, but I made my way to the University of Georgia! I am a biological engineer and I love to play my guitar. I do not think just because you major in something different that may not be your main passion you should not give it up! I still play my guitar and had a few performances, but I am planning to get more into the music scene in Athens! I love talking about music and about guitars! Although, I am very passionate about music, I am still very passionate about my major! It is something I love to do and I want to help as many people through it! I think this is as interesting as my bio can be, but I leave one more fun fact. I like having street signs and traffic lights as decorations because I think it is silly! As for where I get all the signs and lights we'll never know!
