Hello, my name is Ruben Garcia. I am currently 21 years old and live in the Central Valley of California. Many people wonder what there is to do in this dry valley, but I find that my life is defined by the decisions I live by everyday.

The passion and muse in my life is the marching arts. There is no limit to what kind of marching arts I love because I love and have done almost all that there can be done. I have paticipated in marching band and winter percussion all through my high school career and also participated in the Blue Devils B drum and bugle corps in 2010 through 2012 in both baritone and color guard. Currently, I am a apart of Frente Winterguard, formerly known as an Open Class Guard and is now an Independent World Guard located in Fresno, CA.

I am currently in my last year of undergraduate studies of Anthroplogy at the University of California, Merced. With my degree, my hopes are to be able to get into communications or marketing with wonderful organizations such as WGI, DCI, or Music For All. My untimate dream job is to be able to record the stories of those who participate in Drum Corps, Marching Band, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion, and now WGI Winds.
