Anthony, my husband (whom I am madly in love with) and 2 of our 3 amazing daughters, 'Brianca & Jemma' have only recently relocated (from Hervey Bay, SE Qld) up to the Atherton Tablelands:- what a beautiful place to live!
Our eldest daughter (& her partner) also lived in Atherton, and they were soon to have their first baby- my first grandbaby!
Wild horses wouldn't have kept me away from our grandbaby.
Little 'Hunter James' made a surprise apearance into the world on the 27th of May, 2014- he was born 2 months early and weighed 3 pounds and 8 ounces. As Hunter was born early and was so little, both he and his mum had to stay down at the Cairns Base Hospital for around 3 or so weeks (Hunter was being cared for around the clock by specialist nurses and doctors, in the neonate special care unit)- until he was big enough to transfer back up to the Atherton District Hospial.
Our grandbaby is almost 5 months old now- and he is the most adorable little baby boy I've ever laid eyes on (and, 'no' I am not just being biased when I say that...) he 'really' is one of the most adorable baby's I ever had the good fortune to lay eyes on!
Now for a little bit of history
- Our faith:
We (both my husband & myself) had experienced 'religion' individually, and as a couple, and we were turned off by the hyprocriscy we had both witnessed in the church, and by those who called themselves 'Christians'.We would occasionaly (and rather reluctantly) drag ourselves off to church, every once and a while- probably once every month or so- we would endure the long drawn out service, sing the hymms, and even sometimes close our eyes, and say amen, when the minister said a prayer; but- we were still no closer to knowing God than we were, before we entered the church building.
We honestly thought, if we could endure going to church occasionally, and we would be getting a season pass to heaven, if we endured 'going to church' (some people call this 'fire insurance'; in other words, if we went to church enough
Both my husband & I received Jesus Christ into our hearts, and into our lives on Mothers Day, in 2006.
We basically both encountered the King of glory-
