I live believing that everyone goes about her or his daily life just wanting to be happy, proud, comfortable and successful. I’ve seen this in every personal and professional experience I’ve had. Even when things didn't work out as hoped.

I’ve been a minister, a college assistant professor, a broadcaster, a sales person, and--since 1994--a self-employed consultant and author. I even took a brief journey into politics. (I was my party’s nominee for U.S. Representative in 2000 from Oklahoma.)

My daily experiences have taken me from the shop floor to the executive suite and all points in between. I’ve been in industries ranging from health care to hog farming--from military bases to municipal governments--from foundries to law firms--from assembly lines to bank teller lines--and from mammoth distribution centers to main street mom and pop enterprises.

So, now I’m converting all I have learned and experienced into a series of workplace stories around a fictional character I named Marcus Winn. I call the series, "A workplace story of an INPowering life."

For me, everyday is an adventure. Along the way I seek to INCourage the spirit, to INLiven the heart, to INlighten the mind, and to INLarge the expectations of living in myself and in others. I believe therein is the creative energy of personal INPowerment.
