Garnet Van Dyck

I am a fourth year student at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC. I am currently undeclared, but I may soon declare my major to be in Geography. Previously, I had been a Biology major. I studied at the University of Regina, in Regina, SK, for two years where I was a student-athlete playing for the Cougars Women's Soccer team. I moved back home to Victoria because I missed the active, outdoorsy lifestyle I was used to. It's just not possible to hike around in minus 40 degrees Celsius weather! Some of my favourite things to do in my free time are skateboarding, camping, hiking, playing sports, and reading novels. My strengths are in adaptability, positivity, strategizing, communication, and intellection. I put my talents to use everyday, but particularly in my field of work as a Guest Services Agent and a student.
