Garrett Gambill

An aspiring physician’s assistant with varied healthcare experience, Garrett Gambill has worked as a medical assistant with Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Associates in the Memphis, TN area since 2018. In this position, he communicates with patients to schedule follow-up appointments and deliver test results, as well as to provide instructions on specific products and medications that have been prescribed. Garrett Gambill also helps prepare patients for exams and acts as a scribe for the examining physician.

Since joining the Memphis, TN dermatology practice, Mr. Gambill has developed positive relationships with surgeons, who have trained him to assist in MOHS micrographic surgery. MOHS surgeries involve removing thin layers of tissue in the treatment of early-stage skin cancer.

Mr. Gambill holds a bachelor of arts in kinesiology from the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of the Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity. He plans to pursue a physician’s assistant degree in the fall of 2021, and has been accepted into programs at Lincoln Memorial and South College near Knoxville.
