Garrett Wise

I grew up in Mendota, Illinois. After graduating high school I enrolled to Northern Illinois University where I was accepted into the Physics program and later the Philosophy program as well. Freshman year I was also accepted into a program called the Huskie Research Rookies which paired me up with a faculty mentor (or in my case two) and allowed me to conduct research under their guidence. I participate in the NIU Taekwondo and Hapkido club in which I study the art of Chung Do Mu Sool (True Way Martial Arts), a martial art originating from the Royal Court of Korea and used by the palace guards. Every now and then I will work on music compositions, one of which can be found on Spotify.
