Hello! My name is Garrick Blain, and I am newly graduated high school teacher currently working full time at Jeppe High School for Boys as a science teacher.

Throughout my university journey, I gained invaluable experience in a variety of educational contexts, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the role of education in the 21st century. I graduated the top mathematics teaching student in 2025 and it is my hope that I will continue to learn and grow into a more complete educator with a more comprehensive pedagogy.

I am an avid believer in the holistic aspect of education - in that learning happens just as much outside that classroom as it does within. To this end, I have engaged in a variety of co-curricular activities and sporting ventures. It is my hope that my experience in these fields will help promote the holistic development of my learners into fully realised individuals with a passion for lifelong learning.
