Garrick Gibson

Jacksonville, FL

By utilizing pictures, symbols, colors and words to simplify complex issues, tell a story, communicate ideas and create understanding in a compelling way, I offer over 15 years of experience in the field visual communications.

As a “Creative Geek,” Visual Communicator and Publisher—with career experience in marketing and advertising—I deliver professional graphic design, web design and creative direction to entrepreneurs, small and women-owned businesses seeking affordable branding and marketing.

In addition, I am the co-founder of the higher education website HBCUlifestyle.com with my father, Richard Gibson, Jr., supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The primary goal of the site is to keep students, parents, alumni, and fans up-to-date on issues related to college life, scholarship opportunities, careers, and events within the HBCU community.

Aside from my career, I enjoy running, blogging, technology, marketing, communications, personal development, wellness and—obviously—the spirit of entrepreneurism.
