I was a stone-cold atheist when God revealed Himself to me alongside the banks of the Charles River in Boston. I was 19 years old, had finished my 2nd year at Boston University, but I was lost. I left a full scholarship to go and find God.

It took a year, but I finally got saved in a little hippie church in Hollywood, and that completely changed the rest of my life. When I actually felt the Spirit of God save my soul, I was so amazed that I dropped all my nets to follow Him.

That was 1970. Since then, the Lord has taken me around the world to preach His Word and to ignite revivals wherever I can.

It started with a little 15-minute broadcast on a local AM station. That grew into a half-hour broadcast every week in several radio stations in Jerusalem, Ireland, Africa, and the Philippines. A newspaper column followed that grew from a handful of newspapers to an online blog.

After several years of broadcasting and writing columns, I was called to start revival meetings in Africa. They started in Kenya but quickly spread across the continent. The power of God would fall on these meetings more than anything I'd ever seen - even those heady years of the Jesus Movement in 1970. Once the fire started burning, it began to spread. Soon, I was being asked to come to churches from Kenya to Nigeria, Tanzania to Cape Verde, and everywhere in-between. Once people smelled the smoke, they wanted the fire!

It has been a 20-year campaign across Africa. I'm still going strong, but there are many calls coming from other places in desperate need of revival - Pakistan, India, Burma, and others. Who knows where the Spirit of God will take us next?

It has been a wild and crazy ride at times, but what an exciting life!
