I've facilitated learning for tertiary ICT students since 1986. For 10+ yrs I've researched, analysed, published & presented on the ICT tertiary enrolments & job trends. I'm passionate about encouraging young people into the computing & IT industry & a strong advocate for developing pathways from secondary school into tertiary studies.
I've edited the CITRENZ Curriculum document, referred to as the Blue Book, for over 16 yrs. I'm a CITRENZ Fellow & IITPNZ member.
Born & raised in Taihape under Mt Ruapehu, alongside the Hautapu river (good eeling), with the Ruahine Ranges in the background.
Having fun with 6 grandchildren aged 9 to 19. Amateur photographer & imbiber of single malt scotch whiskey (on occasion).
