A singer and song writer with a passion for visual and auditory art. He is born and raised in the Philippines in early 70’s. A middle child of 5 siblings, Garry Lloyd has always tried to find ways to reach his dream of becoming a popular artist.

He started singing when he was 12, and what really pushed him to be better at it was when his own mother, the singer in the family, told him he was out-of-tune and should stop singing. No, his mother is not Simon Cowell. But bless her soul, his mother has demonstrated her pride of singing him perform in local stages in the city. At a young age, he was asked to sing in a national competition at the nation’s cultural center. Had a hiatus when he concentrated finishing his college degree in nursing, knowing very well that his passion did not lie there.

He started writing songs when he realized that his poetic talents could be converted into lyrics. But he is handicapped at reading notes or playing any musical instrument. Never wanting to rely on other people to play the music in his mind, he looked for applications and software that could help him. And there were tons.

Now he writes, he composes, he sings and records his albums right inside the comfort of his bedroom.
The unique thing about him is that he can play with melodies and make them his own, a very popular skill he supposes, but an essential one in furthering his aim to reach the dream.
