Matthew Garsuah Garway Jr

Hello, I’m Matthew Garsuah. I’m a missionary with the Great Commission Movement of Liberia ( an affiliate of Campus Crusade for Christ International). I graduated from Cuttington University in Central Liberia where I studied Accounting and Economic as Major and Minor respectively. Prior to my graduation, I did a thesis on Using Accounting Applications Software in Accounting Data Processing. The research grew my passion for accounting applications, and I wanted to specialize in System Auditing. While in college, I got to know Jesus Christ in a more special and intimate way through the Campus Christians Fellowship meetings on campus but I lived a lukewarm life.

Upon graduation, I intern at Firestone Liberia Inc. and latter became a fellow on the prestigious President's Young Professionals Program. I was assigned at the Ministry of Finance now Ministry of Finance and Development Planning. I worked as a Budget Analyst, Analyst for Project Apprasial and Compliance and lastly, Sr. Budget Officer. During all my years working my walk with the Jesus Christ became more closer. In 2015 a very strong and gentle desire came upon me to use all my ideas, skills and talent for Jesus Christ Full-time to reach young people in Liberia for Jesus Christ. Today, that passion is still fresh and bearing fruits. It is my prayers to help grow the next generation of firm and uncompromising Christian Leaders in Liberia. I am living in Monrovia, Liberia. I am a fan of innovation, volunteering, and causes that will lead people to knowing Jesus Christ, this is what I do with the Great Commission Movement around Liberia.
