Gary Carruthers

I am Gary Carruthers, a Project Manager. Companies turn to me because in addition to having strong management skills I am also technically capable. Companies require project managers with all the skills to manage costs and schedules but also can competently present project issues to customers, can discuss risks and solutions, create credibility with engineering teams, and can help teams solve difficult technical problems. I develop confidence with customers by communicating with integrity and ensure their concerns are being addressed. Customers want to hear how we will solve their problems and honest commitment to schedules and costs.

I have diverse experience including real estate, commercial and military aerospace, transportation, telecommunications, and military technology. Educated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering I have many years of experience in electronic product engineering from the proposal phase through implementation, certification, and production. I have worked in both commercial projects and government contracts. This diversity means I can manage projects with many functional teams, systems, software and hardware engineering, operations, test, and quality.

I am currently looking for project management roles in the medical, transportation and aerospace sectors. I am interested in either contract and full-time opportunities.
