Gary Wexler

Gary Wexler is a USC Adjunct Professor in the Masters program at the Annenberg School of Communication, teaching both Nonprofit Marketing, as well as Advertising and Copywriting. Less than a year ago, Gary began the controversial blog, NonprofitRevolutionNOW.com. Today, he is being followed by thousands of people throughout the world. Recently, the blog was picked up by Guy Kawasaki's online weekly magazine, Alltop.

Gary climbed to the top of a 15-year career as a copywriter and creative director for several of America's largest ad agencies. He created award-winning campaigns for clients ranging from Apple Computer to Coca Cola. In his mid-forties, he made a radical life shift, exchanging the needs of his wallet for the needs of his soul. He began to work exclusively with clients in the nonprofit world. Seventeen years later, Gary has created marketing campaigns and delivered lectures and training programs for nearly 2000 nonprofits throughout the world. He is out front challenging the nonprofit sector to in critical thinking and creativity, as well as its enthusiastic embrace of branding and social media as the answer to their communication needs.

In conjunction with marketing, communication and education Gary's passion for change in today's society has led to the formulation of Seize the Conversation, a strategic plan to propel non-profits into the hearts of America's people.
