Gary Winchester

I am the founder of GaryWinchester.com. I discovered my love for technology in 1995 when I started using AOL Chat Rooms. I would meet with other users close to my age and near where I lived offline, after getting to know them online. It was in 1996 when I discovered my passion for marketing, advertising and sales.

I used AOL Chat Rooms to promote my fathers new venture of building floating docks in Tampa, FL within his existing business, G & G Welding & Fabrication. I met several users who thought what we were doing was interesting which brought several of them to a boat show we were vendors at and lead to the selling of two floating docks. It was not because I created some amazing marketing slogan, awesome ad or fail proof sales pitch. The results were driven by relationships.

My grandfather, his brother and my uncles owned a produce delivery service and farmers market. They built this business through honest hard work and solid relationships. They did not advertise or use marketing tactics to close customers, they leveraged every relationship they had. This is what is happening now, except we can have far more relationships with people than they ever could because of technology.

I have forged relationships with friends online since elementary school and continue to do so now. I value each connection I have and do my best to strengthen it. I have been able to strategically do the same thing for several non-profits and companies since 2008. I have continued to keep myself educated on current marketing, advertising, sales and technology trends. As well as what has not been a trend. I make it my business to know so my clients can rely on my knowledge and wisdom to increase sales through online relationships.
