Gary Bowerman has lived and worked in Asia for a decade as a travel industry writer, analyst and consultant. He is co-founder of Scribes of the Orient, a content, marketing and media services company with bases in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur.
Gary comments frequently on China and Southeast Asia. He has recently contributed to Business Traveler and Conde Nast Traveller, and writes annual Asia travel and tourism research reports for Mintel. His book, The New Chinese Traveler: Business Opportunities From the Chinese Travel Revolution, is published in September 2014.
