GARY McCONNOHIE
Gary Mcconnohie is the embodiment of many characteristics that are now only found in a small percentage of Realtors.® He believes that people are only as good as their word, you treat everyone the way you want to be treated and every deal should be sealed with a handshake. After 16 years as a top salesmen in the tool and die industry, Gary decided it was the perfect time to re-enter a career he worked in over 30 years ago and enjoyed—and he brings his old school touches with him into every transaction.
Gary was first introduced to real estate by his stepfather 30 years ago, who at the time was an owner/broker. After a short but successful career with his stepfather’s brokerage (due to the sudden passing of his stepfather), Gary had to change gears to support his young family and went to work in the tool and die industry. Throughout the years, Gary always knew he would eventually return to his passion of helping people buy and sell homes. Recently Gary realized that there’s no time like the present, and he came running back to real estate and joined the team at Keller Williams North. Having been in commission sales his whole life, Gary is excited to have an opportunity to sell people their dreams and make a positive impact in their lives. One of his strongest attributes is his ability to listen to clients and fully understand their wants and needs. Gary is a well versed communicator and negotiator who is focused on delivering his clients a job well-done.
A family man at heart, when he’s not helping his clients achieve the ultimate dream of homeownership for their families, he is spending time with and enjoying his own family. Gary’s grandchildren are his life and he loves introducing them to the things he loves to do, like hunting and fishing. Born and raised in Comstock Park, Gary and his wife now reside in the Rockford area. Rockford affords Gary the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor life he and his family so enjoy. He also loves the sense of community offered. Gary has been an active member of the Comstock Park JC’s and a member of the Laddies Sportsmen’s Club in Grand Rapids, where he was a board member for several years. Gary’s love of family, community and country make him an exceptional asset to his clients.
