Gary Arnold
Director of Marketing in Utah, United States
For twelve years, marketing has been my professional passion. I’ve seen incredible changes in the industry, and I look forward to the latest disruptions around the corner. Through the years and the changes, I’ve landed on a few fundamental principles of marketing. I’d like to share a few that I believe also reflect my accomplishments and strengths:
- The foundation of all marketing is understanding your customer - then crafting and delivering a compelling, relevant message to them.
- Metrics are essential but are not an end goal in themselves. Metrics should guide and inform intuition and decisions, not make them.
- The common language between sales and marketing is simple; new revenue.
- People are the most important thing.
On a personal note, I also love the outdoors, beekeeping, and all things nerd.
