Nashville REALTOR ®, Gary Ashton started in his career in real estate sales in 2001, and quickly became part of the top 1% of REALTORS ® in the area. He has also become the #1 Team leader with The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage in Tennessee and #1 in the USA.

In July 2012, Gary and his team became the Official Real Estate Team for the Tennessee Titans, which was a fantastic boost to the awareness of the team in the city and a fantastic opportunity to work with the players and staff of the Titans organization.

In 2022, the sponsorship with the Titans came to an end, and a new sponsor was announced.

In April 2013, the team managed to sell just over $17.5M worth of real estate, setting a new team record for monthly production.

In 2003, Gary reached the milestone of having nearly $6 million worth of sales over the course of the year—without the help of an assistant or buyer's agent. Since that time, Gary has focused his attention on gaining a strong internet presence and on refining his sales and marketing process to generate enough leads to keep more than 10 full-time buyer's agents and a full-time assistant happily employed.

In 2009, a year that saw many seasoned real estate agents actually retiring their licenses, Gary and the team spent their time working on the release of their new website as well as continuing to be one of the most successful teams in Nashville.

2010 saw the release of the redesigned website that has seen the registration rise from around 15-35 to 40-75 a day. This is a reflection of the user-friendly design of the site as well as an upturn in interest in the real estate market in Nashville, TN, and the USA.
