Mr. Brustin generously donates his time to numerous bicycle advocacy organizations. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the League of American Bicyclists in Washington, D.C., and the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition. He served on the Board of Directors of the California Bike Coalition for ten years. He also chairs the new National Legal Affairs Committee for the League of American Bicyclists.

Mr. Brustin has been a proud co-sponsor of numerous events and riders including The Race Across America, The Chevrolet/LASD Professional Cycling Team, The Velo Girls, Fremont Freewheelers, The Solvang Century, and the Orange County Wheelmen/Paramount Racing Team. He also sponsored helmet donation programs in Irvine and Contra Costa County.
