Gary Campanella

Gary Campanella is a Senior Manager and Assistant Vice President in Global Business Services for The Capital Group Companies. He manages facilities, operations, and customer service, and is a steward for Capital's physical environment and services.
He has taken leadership roles with Capital on environmental initiatives, the Effective Decision Making Workshop, the Development & Training Committee, the Writing SOS Program, and the intern program.
Since 1998, he has worked as a Mediator for the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs, the Superior Court of Los Angeles, and the Boston Housing Authority.
Since 2006, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, Los Angeles Region.
He has a LEED GA certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
He is also on the Professional Development Committee of the International Facilities Managers Association (IFMA).
Gary has a B.A. in English from Ripon College and has completed several years of post-graduate work in English literature, English composition, literacy, and philosophy.
Some of his avocational achievements have included hiking the 2700-mile Pacific Crest Trail, volunteering as a backpacking instructor and wilderness first responder for the Appalachian Mountain Club, and extensive travel, primarily mountain climbing throughout
Europe. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
