Gary J. Curry
I spent over 16 years in the banking industry excelling in various positions within small business banking, middle market commercial banking, and private banking. While in banking my client list has included many fortune 500 companies, some of the richest people in America, and several athletes and entertainers. My last position in banking was as a Senior Private Banker/Vice President at Wells Fargo Private Bank. I also worked for Northern Trust and Bank of America Private Bank (BofA). At BofA, I was in the top 15% in sales production for the entire bank. In addition, I hold Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Insurance license.
In 2006, I was profiled in the Who's Who in Black South Florida directory; in 2007 was named as one of South Florida's 40 most influential and successful black professionals under 40 by Success Magazine; and in 2011 was named one of the most accomplished black professionals in South Florida by ICABA magazine. I am also an avid golfer winning the low gross Men's Flight C at the 2009 Black Enterprise Golf and Tennis Challenge. I also currently serve on the Boys and Girls Club of Miami board and am an active member of the Rotary Club of Miami where I am currently the Director of Community Services and a board member for the Foundation for 2012-2013 year.
After having a successful career in banking, I decided to start my own firm with a focus on truly making a positive difference in my clients' lives and thus SBNC Family Office was born.
