Herwitz’s company brokered 7 acquisitions since 2005, including juniors apparel line Boy Meets Girl and Campus Candy, a yogurt and sweets store whose reach spans universities throughout the U.S. He spent much of 2007 in China, where he assisted in the acquisition of the country’s 3rd largest timepiece retailer. Gary D. Herwitz also worked with Summit Logistics and Log-Net, supply chain service providers that later merged to form SumMetrics.
